Carolyn Williamson

Cal has been working in Architecture since 1991 near Manchester and in Cumbria, with experience in the Private and public sector – working with both large organizations and private individuals. Her past projects have included hotels, large-scale apartment blocks and leisure projects including conversion work to a Grade I listed building at Albert Dock in Liverpool. A house she designed for a private individual near Nottingham also won the Daily Telegraph ‘House of the Year’ Award in 2002. She joined GDG in 2002 as Architect – later becoming Associate Director, and continues to be a huge asset to the Practice.

Cal’s particular interests include the use of Green technologies and sustainable building and Interior Design. She has currently been working on a development of harbourside apartments in Whitehaven, and a large extension and re-organisation within Braithwaite C of E primary school.
