Dave studied Architecture at Birmingham School of Architecture, and was a partner in the original partnership; moving on to be a founding Partner in Green Design Group, later becoming a Director. His considerable experience has been brought to many Green Design Group projects. Dave’s previous experience had been working in commercial Architecture in Birmingham, and locally in private practice.

He cites many prestigious and interesting projects, examples of which are:

St Martins Church, Brampton – Restoration, (includes glazing by Burne-Jones/William Morris);
Special needs housing for Carr Gomm in Darlington, Kendal, Barrow;
Farm diversification Projects including The Gin Case at Mawbray (includes Café, Art Gallery, Workshops and Farm Visitor Centre);
Syskin Centre Respite Care Project, Wigton.

Dave is also a Dioscesan surveyor for ecclesiastical buildings, and is a past President of Cumberland Society of Architects.
