Paul Kitchin

Architectural Technician/Technologist

Following A Levels, Paul studied Art and Design to foundation level before gaining employment with a small contractor using a broad range of trade skills on renovation and general maintenance projects.  After a year studying 3-dimensional design, he returned to the Construction industry, working as a carpenter for a large contractor on a variety of projects.  He went on to teach building skills to groups of unemployed youngsters via the government’s New Deal scheme, whilst project managing and converting a residential property into the Company’s HQ.

Paul joined Green Design Group in 2001, as an Architectural Technologist, involved in the design and management of projects from inception to completion, utilizing all the skills and knowledge developed through further education and practical and theoretical experience gained whilst working in the Construction Industry since 1995.

His recent projects include technical support, and input on the recent Cockermouth School project, extensions to Frizington Nursery School and Toddler Town Nursery in Workington – alongside numerous domestic extensions, new builds and barn conversion projects throughout the region.
